I've been an early user of Bright. We use Braintree for our SaaS payments and their dashboard is not actionable at all. Aggregated data focused on management of transactions and subscriptions. I keep data on customer segments and their MRR in a spreadsheet.
Bright solves this by allowing us to look at customer segments and their SaaS metrics in detail. This makes it easier to communicate...

No thanks. We're still in the early days of wearing a camera directly on our faces. One of the major backlashes to Google Glass was the fact that other people didn't know they were being recorded and felt their privacy was invaded. Snap rightly added the recording light to Spectacles to ease this concern. Covering up the light increases the creepiness again.
Also, who does this solve a problem...

@rrhoover Given the new daily email and the change to the navigation, is this a shift in strategy away from the four main verticals (tech, games, books, podcats) into smaller user-curated topics? If so, wonder if you could share what was working/not working with the vertical approach with in-house curator and how you expect this shift to change what was not working with that model and KPIs...

This isn't a snapchat discover clone. Discover is meant for top of the funnel engagement with brands. This is more of a new ad-format for facebook meant to engage the consumer on a deeper level and push them to take an action. Yes, there are swipe patterns that they have in common (swipe up/down, left/right) but those are hardly unique to Discover.

Thought it was interesting that the investors had no problem with it, but all that was cited were relationships where the couples were equal. Being the founder/CEO is a bit different. What if the company had to layoff people and his wife was included? That'd be a fun conversation. So while I think it will probably be fine, the power dynamic raises more concerns than just a married couple...

Social Media pioneers Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr are all about sharing your life and creating connection. Then Instagram came along and showed that you can share your life through a simple photo or video. It was even more powerful because it was easier for others to see through your eyes.
I think now we’re at another inflection point in creating empathy in social media and it is...

This was my favorite game in high school. I pumped over 100 hours in this game and tried to complete every single quest. It was glorious.
I have not played the BG2 Enhanced Edition (Although I have played BG1:EE), but glad this exists so new people can discover this classic. On so many platforms!

The headline here is WRONG. College are not stack ranked and that was part of the purpose of the redesign. The new scorecard gives consumers important data in context to make smart decisions for them, but does not explicit say what college is "best". I think it's a great approach because things like US News & World rankings are heavily flawed and not applicable to all students.

LinkedIn Messaging needed a major overhaul for years, but GIFs and stickers were in scope for launch? I'm all for adding delight with a release, but seems odd these these features were a priority. Any insight behind why they are included at launch?

This adds a lot of single user value to Messenger. I wonder if that's one of the reasons they decided to build this.
