there is no best time. it's impossible to predict what life circumstances thousands to millions of users will go through at any given time. all you can do is try to find data on when they're most active, but of course: bye privacy.

i didn't run a startup. i worked in a manager position. i realized it was hard to motivate people with an unfinished product and if they weren't compensated fairly. it seems simple, i know, but when inexperienced i couldn't see how these problems would add up until the rubber met the road.
