Everyone needs a sales page. No matter if you’re selling: - course - coaching - d2c brand - saas product - agency services - newsletter subscriptions Here are 7 MUST have elements if you want your sales page to convert: 1. Jolting em to senses aka headline. Your headline should grab the readers’ attention. Frameworks to write attention grabbing headlines: • Specific Benefit + Curiosity Straight to the point: what’s in it for them (benefit). Why they should listen to you (curiosity element). • The Big 4 (NESB) emotions Your headline should have 4 emotions (to stand out from the crowd)": - New: unique and only solution to their problem - Easy: anyone can do this. Solution isn’t rocket science - Safe: why your solution work aka testimonials, social proof and results - Big: fast or quick solution 2. Lead Supporting and expanding on the headline. The first few hundred words of your sales page are known as lead. Purpose: to create a slippery slope and hook readers’ attention to read till the end. 3. Story Use founder’s story or a customer’s story to hook their attention. And stories also work great to break down complex topics. 4. Big Promise aka your OFFER. The healing ointment for their vulnerable wound. Introduce your product. And explain how it’s gonna help solve their problem. 5. Proving your point Why should they trust you? Include social proof, testimonials, and results. Reviews and customer stories are a great cred booster. 6. Snapshot of the future Explain the features and benefits of your product. By taking the reader on the future journey. How their lives would look after they’ve consumed your product. aka future pacing. 7. Relieve the risk The guarantee element. Make your offer risk free for them. BONUS: Sweeten the pot You can add a few bonuses. Exclusive deals for them. Bundle together a few offers. aka load up your offer with value. Making it difficult for them to say NO to your offer.
