Hi Kaloyan! Zero to One from Peter Thiel was the most transformative book for me. You'll learn things that you certainly don't have learned in other books. In no specific order: - Competitive markets destroy profits: Under perfect competition, in the long run no company makes an economic profit. - Monopolies drive progress because the promise of years or even decades of monopoly profits provides a powerful incentive to innovate. - As a startup founder, start small and monopolize. The perfect target market for a startup is a small group of particular people concentrated together and served by few or no competitors. (Microsoft -> BASIC developers, PayPal -> PowerSellers on Ebay, Facebook -> Harvard students...) - Once you create and dominate a niche market, then you should gradually expand into related and slightly broader markets. (Amazon -> from books to everything, Facebook -> from Harvard to other universities to the entire world...) But more importantly, as a startup founder, Peter Thiel urges you to thing by yourself without being influenced by what others like or do. Don't follow trends. Work on the most important problem that you can solve with your unique talent.
