Would totally say yes. The world is getting more and more visually focused by the day. Having a good intro video adds a lot of value. I may be biased as I come from an editing and animation background, but my answer is absolutely. You can convey a lot more information in a short amount of time with a well made video. Personally when I go to a product page I always watch the videos first. Almost every product I’ve downloaded via product hunt was after watching the video and getting a better understanding of the products functionality. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a custom, fully animated video. You just need to tell a good story and showcase your product and its ease of use well.
