As a founder /maker, do you find it difficult to organically promote your product on social media ?

I find it difficult and boring ,making strategy, creating content, and posting regularly plus engaging with community.
So just wondering how you handle it. 🙂

I do two things:
- Mostly just do replies, much easier actually creates conversations and builds long term relationships
- I just post about things happening to me at the time
- Make it a routine so I'm consistent

@maxwellcdavis Yes, I agree, will try to make it a routine. Thanks for answering and sharing with community.
Of course, it's difficult, but this is a must.

@chris_sarca Yes, its difficult but we must face it. Thanks for sharing your view.
Yes! I find it very hard as well. Our team is working very hard on various social media, but we're struggling to define our style and get engagement without paid ads. I'm looking forward to reading the answers!
(P.S: Our team just launched ReSkript, would love if you check it out!)

Yes, it's challenging. However, the effort is needed here. As you mentioned posting regularly is critical (consistency is key, but not at the expense of quality content).
This is what I do: At the beginning of each month (or Q), I create a bank of ideas/ posts I can share - I look for special events/ dates to talk about, industry news, questions, polls, you can always repurpose existing content you have, share product updates, etc.
It's also a good idea to open a channel (Slack, Whatsapp, etc) with your coworkers and ask them to add screenshots of every cool post or marketing idea they see. Get inspired.
Good luck!

@neri_raanani Thanks for sharing. I will definitely use this approach for making strategy beforehand about what to share and when.
