Hi there I believe rapid growth can exist if it is sustainable for your company, everything depend on how you build it ! By the way we're live today, come show your support !

Great question for the AMA with Michael Litt, posted on the community yesterday! Mike has some great lessons to share on rapid growth (from the early days of building Vidyard + his experience with his portfolio companies)

Rapid growth is rare, not every product or project can achieve rapid growth The natural path is to grow slowly and endure several ups and downs

Yes, the home fitness company Peloton was founded in 2012 and experienced rapid growth during the COVID-19 pandemic, with sales increasing by over 100% in 2020.

Fast growth, to me, means a company becomes much more successful in a short time. The definition of "short" can vary, and it's not always clear if we're talking about a period as short as three months or a year. For example, successful companies can double or triple their income (profit) in a year. The exact timeframe for what's considered "fast" growth depends on the specific circumstances.

Of course! If you have found product-market fit quicker than normal, there's nothing wrong with that. Just keep an eye on the books to ensure you are not running your finances into the ground trying to maintain it.

why not. depend of how useful that product is and bad the community needs it. Remember when Covid-19 shocked the world, facemasks and paper towels got so much production?
