I used to work at a company that had a very soft background lo-fi music playing in the background all the time. Have you experienced a similar situation? what do you think?

I don't it should be in the background. Anyone who prefers it can plays one's own in airpods. I like to listen to music but not everytime when I'm not in mood. Imposing lo-fi music for everyone could be uncomfortable for a few people

If it's repetitive work, I used to hear OSTs. If it involves creativity and thinking, I'd prefer a silent place.

Not in the office, but I enjoy a good work session with some Bon Iver playing in my headphones!

I turn on Cercle YouTube channel on my tv and play/listen to that in the background. Would highly recommend if youā€™re into chill techno/house !

I am the office DJ and play a mix of Eurovision and 90's/early 00's hits, they go down well with most. Shakira's "She Wolf" has randomly become the office anthem šŸŗ

Not the biggest fine! Because some people prefer to stay in silence, you shouldn't put a background music
