I think it’ll be one of the top trends for a while. For the feature, maybe there’ll be more interactive visual content. What do you think?

For sure. We actually just launched a video-first community platform today on PH. We believe face-to-face async communities are the future. Check it out: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

@gavin_hammar Thanks and good luck!

It depends on the user engagement we now had observed both longtime videos & shorts people gave value to both as per their interests but may be AI is evolving someday we can see another form of video marketing.
Janset Angı
@julie_john Yes, user habits constantly evolve so new techs will also adapt to them

I'm an SEO specialist with more than 10 years of experience and I think video will play a larger role in SEO in 2023 and beyond. Google has made a few subtle hints that they are going to start prioritizing video more. One being adding video metrics in Google Search Console so you can track all pages that contain video and track their metrics against other pages.

@derek_coleman Useful information! Thanks a lot :)

I feel video marketing gives the most dopamine hit to people compared to all other mediums of marketing. So yeah I think it is only going to grow bigger with advances in AR & VR.
Janset Angı
@nithin_jawahar It'll sure combine new technologies:)

Yes it probably is. We went from text > images > video desktop (long form) > video handheld (short form) pretty fast. Have also noticed less people nowadays are inclined to read (especially the younger generation). I think its also a great way to convey more information (and emotions) quicker - while being entertaining.
Janset Angı
@cedric2 As you said, attention spans are really low, especially for the new generations. Video is a great way to capture the attention of people of all age groups.

Videos definitely seem to generate a lot of interest in users. I've found video memes to perform really well on my Twitter on par with text tweets :) Apart from that, videos from customers on landing pages actually build a lot of social proof which I've witnessed firsthand while seeing customers use https://famewall.io for video testimonials😄
Janset Angı
@gouthamj Twitter is a really good platform for video sharing in many ways imo! Right! Video testimonials are great content for B2B especially.

For SAAS Products marketing - interactive Live Demos are definitely here to stay. And I am building a product for exactly that. Check it out https://livedemo.live

I think video marketing will grow even further. It provides an immersive way to explain a product or message. Perhaps we might see traditionally written content auto transcribed in video in future

The core content will remain the same, but the way people will consume it will keep changing. If you focus on your writing, you can repurpose it into podcasts, videos, and other forms of content. What hasn't changed is the way you write and make use of human psychology!
Janset Angı
@rohan_pathak1 Yes, whatever engages work!

Good to see that someone is talking about marketing. I am also working on basketball digital marketing and for this purpose I am implementing video marketing strategy.
Janset Angı
@marrie_max Great work! It's a perfect field to benefit from video marketing
Jessie
Yes. Short videos are here to stay - creates greater impact.

We play play snake much these days. There's a simple reason for this: our kids are older now.

Whether it's through holograms or another platform, I think videos are here to stay. Although I'm still unsure about the metaverse, that can definitely change the future of visual content.
Janset Angı
@neri_raanani Yes, since now we know that technology is beyond our imagination sometimes, for sure there are very exciting changes await us :)
Neri Raanani
@janset_angi Definitely. Let's wait and see :)

I think marketing in some form is old as humans are. People used to leave food to attract animals to kill and eat. For me, that's a kind of marketing.

I think video marketing will be a lasting trend, it can be very versatile as well especially if you do something like choose your own path in the video to lead the user to a conversion point.
Janset Angı
@rob_henrichs Unique and engaging videos will enhance success for a long time without a doubt.
Yes, I believe the video marketing trend is enormous and has been here for a long time.
Polina Gollender
Its popularity is due in part to the fact that it is an engaging and effective way to communicate with your target audience. Additionally, it’s still a popular format through all these years (TV, Streaming, Youtube, TikTok). However, there is always the possibility that something could shape video marketing. But as a storytelling tool video marketing is one of the best ones
Janset Angı
@gollender I think so. As long as it continues to engage people, it'll be with us.
Dilan Aydın
Exactly! I think that holograms might be used in the future for content. However, I am sure that video marketing will stay in trend for a long time.

@dilan_aydin The popularity of holograms must be based on the popularity of supporting device, and I believe that day will come, even if those devices will be expensive. It's like making the leap from the old-fashioned cell phone to the smartphone era.
Aditya Rajput
@dilan_aydin I would lpvr tp use holograms, but the tech is so costly. While videos are within everybody's reach.
Janset Angı
@dilan_aydin future is exciting :)
Dilan Aydın
@naomi_zhao We are exactly on the same page!

Video marketing is awesome and catches many eyes passively if they find it. Doing demos, virtual events, and live events probably catches a lot more eyes and sign ups.
Janset Angı
@chuantang I agree. It's easier to grab attention even if the audience is not that much into it.
