Have you ever had a case where you were refused support for a product by members of the PH community

For example, someone asked you to write a review of a product that has just been launched in Product Hunt, you looked at the product, you wrote a review (honest, unbiased, but not negative either), you voted. When it is your turn to ask for support from the community, the member simply ignores your messages. How right is that? Or is it generally wrong to ask for support from the community?
