How do you separate work and personal life when working at home?

I live alone, so it is not very difficult for me. I have a schedule of when I work and when I rest. I also have a separate office where I work. I am currently finishing university and I often refer to https://domypaper.com/ to spend more time on work or leisure. Sometimes I want to work from the office, but I understand that working online I can work both at home and on vacation or visiting my parents

Good question! It's definite a challenge, especially if you love your job or are an entrepreneur using every free minute to move forward. I personally think that a healthy routine, which allows you to exercise, socialise and reflect on yourself is important and easy to manage once it becomes your habit. For example, I put my flight mode on as soon as I go to bed and only turn it off after my 1 hour of exercise first thing in the morning. Then it's game time pretty much all day with little breaks in between - again, no phone allowed in those breaks! Walking around the block or a short Yoga session on YouTube are my favourites. Then, in the evening I allow myself another 40min-45 mins for a walk/exercise before working another couple hours to finish off the day. 😀

When I first began working from home a lot many years ago the thing I did that had the biggest impact on the separation was maintaining a completely separate physical space for work stuff. On weekends or anytime I would be home and 'off duty' I would never just casually look something up on that work desk computer or write a note at that desk, nothing -- I was either working at that desk or I wasn't there. That also means that when I'm working from home I'm not sitting on the couch or laying in bed or anything like that either -- if I was working, it was at that work desk. It sounds strange, but it has helped keep things mentally separated.

A big part here is establishing routines that make your brain and body understand whether you are in work mode. Taking a shower and chaging your clothes in the morning, not working in PJs, having and respecting a dedicated space for office, etc
