Personally, i use the Pomodoro Technique. It involves breaking down work into 2-hour intervals followed by 30-minute breaks. Then I keep my mobile phone locked in a separate room if I have a very busy day

@ogaga_john The Pomodoro Technique is a fantastic way to manage time and maintain focus. Breaking work into intervals with regular breaks can really boost productivity. Keeping your phone locked away is a smart move tooā€”distractions can be a real productivity killer. How do you find the balance between work intervals and breaks? Do you ever adjust the timeframes based on your workload?

@andreea_staicu I sure do, depending on the workload I adjust my focus time and rest intervals. If I am having a slow day with a mid workload, I reduce my focus work and increase my rest time. If I have a lot of work, and my energy levels are good, I may have equal rest time to my focus work, Example: Focus work 1 hour, rest 1 hour and I repeat this 4 to 6 times through out the day

Good question! I stay focused by reminding myself of the bigger picture. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I take a step back and think about how the tasks Iā€™m working on contribute to my long-term goals. It helps me stay motivated and on track.

I try to keep a notebook of priorities for the week and for the day. This helps me know what are the ONE THING that needs to be done. A lot of small unimportant things falls off the plate and they wont move the needle, but if I keep procrastinating on the important things, I'll just be busy and not be effective at all.

I start with time-blocking so I know when I should start a new task or end it. In that way, I can estimate the time I'm gonna spend for a specific task and for the entire day.

Taking short, scheduled breaks helps me maintain focus. I use these breaks to stretch or grab a coffee, which refreshes my mind and keeps me productive.

I find on most days, there is that *one* thing that needs to get done to move the needle. The rest is noise, cut it out.

I tend to procrastinate until the last minute, but Iā€™m getting better by making clear to-do lists and writing down my goals.

When things get too overwhelming, I find that the best way to regain my focus is to go for a short walk. Just a few minutes away from screens helps me calm down and come back with a clearer mind and renewed focus.

@morgane_prr Thatā€™s a great strategy! Taking a short walk sounds like an excellent way to clear your mind and reduce stress. Iā€™ve found that stepping away from screens can really help reset my focus as well. Do you have a favorite route or spot you like to visit during your breaks?

Yeah, focusing can be tough when things get hectic. I like to time block my day, dedicating chunks of time to specific tasks or projects. Keeping a tidy to-do list and crossing things off helps me stay on track and feel accomplished. Also blocking off some breaks to step away, take a walk, or just close my eyes for a few mins really helps me recharge and refocus. Music or white noise in my headphones helps too when it's noisy!

Absolutely! I break my day into focused time blocks using the Pomodoro technique. 25 min of focused work, 5 min break. Repeat. Also keep my workspace clean and distraction-free. Turn off notifications during focused blocks. Take a quick walk outside to reset between bigger tasks. Planning the day the night before is key too!

Categorize tasks into four quadrants based on urgency and importance to determine what needs immediate attention.

@kavyaaatripathi Categorizing tasks into quadrants is such a smart approach! It helps prioritize what needs immediate attention and ensures nothing crucial gets overlooked. Do you have a specific method or tool you use for organizing these tasks, or do you prefer a more hands-on approach?
