Is privacy important for you?

Hey, I recently joined ente.io which is a privacy first photos storage app. Being a digital marketer I have seen a lot of user data being collected. Sometimes it made me very uncomfortable.
After meeting with the team at ente I realised that there are alternatives available but the sheer scale of big tech makes it difficult to discover and use such privacy focused alternatives.
Now that I am directly involved with a company that focuses on privacy, I was wondering how important is privacy for everyone. I would really appreciate it if you can share your insights on the topic.

For me it is becoming paramount. I have been reducing my use of services that track for years.

@sparsh_sangai Many reasons. I'll leave you three here.
- Tracking is increasingly easy
- The propaganda worked ("If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear", do you remember that one?)
- Because, as a consequence of the previous one, most people do not think important to protect theirs, so they do not even try (making those who try "suspicious", so to speak)
@simplytedel Its nice to hear. Why do you think that its hard to stay private?
Privacy is indeed important to me. We live in the digital age, and I think the collection and misuse of personal data are widespread concerns. Here I agree that this is the reason why most people prefer using VPNs and proxies. And I'm no exception. I use mobile proxies for betting https://iproxy.online/betting and a VPN for work, TV streaming and managing my finances.
I should say, it's great to see companies like the one you are currently involved with prioritizing privacy in their services. And it would be great if such initiatives are promoted to foster a safer and more secure digital environment.
Absolutely, privacy is very important to me. It is closely tied to our sense of dignity and personal space
@sakshi_gahlawat personal space is important indeed
Definitely, it's really a key factor!
@arpan_011 so you would be more likely to use a product that is privacy focused?
SNote
it's very important, but very hard to get traction when competing with big players
@monicaincog do you think you will pay for a service that ensures privacy or would you rather use a free alternative from big players?
Yes, of course important.

I believe that every person wants to be kondifitsialny. In your product, personal data of the client can be left, and no one should see it.
Yes for sure.
It is very important for me. I think this is why most people use VPNs and proxies today.
