🚨 NEVER LAUNCH ON TUESDAY ON PRODUCT HUNT! 🚨

Today, I launched an indie product I worked really hard on.
According to Product Hunt guides, Tuesday is the "best" day to launch because of high traffic.
Naturally, everyone launches on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The problem? Too many people use automation to spam their product on LinkedIn, creating a noisy and competitive environment.
I launched Qosho today (https://qosho.typedream.app/) without any of those tactics to see if there was real traction. Spoiler: it’s nearly impossible to stand out organically on these high-traffic days 😤
Now I’ll be forced to relaunch on a day with less noise to properly validate Qosho and figure out if it has real traction (and is worth further development).
How you could understand if a product works since you force user to use it????
Lesson learned: Don’t follow the crowd.
LAUNCH SMART. NOT TRENDY.

You launch was not featured. That is why you didn't got any tracking. It is recurrent issue with product hunt lately that they are featuring only 10% of submitted launches: https://www.tetriz.io/blog/is-pr...
@fabian_maume so what we need to do to feature a launch?
fail = learn :)
Launching soon!
Thanks for the advice. What day would you recommend launching? I’m planning a launch myself.

Haha, good point! Yeah, I've heard launching on Tuesday is usually a bad idea. 😆 Thanks for sharing that whentolaunch.xyz site, looks super helpful for optimizing launch timing and strategy. 👍 Definitely gonna check it out before my next launch!
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check out whentolaunch.xyz before my next PH launch. Picking the right day and time seems super important for maximizing visibility and engagement. Appreciate you sharing this tool with the community! 🙌
hey Pié, thanks for sharing!
Yes, i agree that choosing wisely the launch day is essential - and also to go in the opposite direction of the crowd (in italian: controcorrente :).
And It also depends on what someone like to achieve: test real traction, gather genuine feedbacks on the product, or aiming to 1st product of the day/week.
And what if you force user to use your product and then measure the retention rate? Will be worth it from your point of view?
