That's like asking "What's more important to succeed, product or marketing?". The answer is both is important.

@pavithran_chidambaram Ya both are important but if can choose one what would it be?
In my opinion, both speed and direction are important for success, but direction is ultimately more crucial. Moving quickly without a clear direction can lead to wasted time, resources, and missed opportunities.

Direction.
Direction. No point being fast if you're going in the wrong direction.

Both speed and direction are important to succeed. Speed helps you to get to your destination faster, while direction helps you to get to the right destination. The ideal is to have both speed and direction working together in harmony.

Both; once you have a direction go that way fast as hell.

Direction and patience I believe.

In my personal experience, direction matters most.
There were times when I rushed in finishing a particular task and spent days on it, however, as time passed on I noticed that I'm left behind many important other tasks that should have been done simultaneously just because I was so concerned with finishing that job quickly, I neglected the importance of other works.
Agility and resilience! It is key to adapt and pivot
Speed is useless if you don't get direction.
With direction, you can go fast or slow depending on periods, but you know where you're going and so you never stop.

It's speed for me.
Even if I direct in the wrong direction. There is still time to correct with speed

Steady velocity, which is defined by both
@singh_ankur I think direction. If you know where you are going, most markets are big enough that even if you move slowly you can get a small piece of it.
It is just a different path, but I've seen many successful companies be built slowly over time. Maybe not that good for the VC game. But they did have a clear path they were following, and they followed it well :)

The context is the stage. If you are building a product.
[1] Pre-MVP, direction
[2] MVP live, still direction
[3] MVP to the first $1M is your PMF, still don't lose direction
[4] PMF is discovered i.e. $1M to $xM, speed speed speed
