laziness, anxiety, the fear of the unknown, the fear of taking the first step.

Great question. I'll say it's the deep-rooted culture from the old culture in certain countries that we should stick on our track - study well, find a good job, have kids, and retire. We should break the status quo and rethink why we should believe blindly in those cultures. After all, we're no different than human beings in pre-civilisation ages. We all come on earth to be happy, and chasing after our dreams is the best way to access a long-term happiness, at least to many of us.

Negative feedback with no encouragement. Yes, not everything is going to be a good idea and yes, people deserve to know the harsh truth. But there is a difference between doing that and making them feel worthless.

Laziness and lack of discipline.

Believe when growth is guaranteed you should settle down. Believe fault is someone else's. Believe only the goals themselves are what matter.

Ah, that's a thought-provoking question! In our experience at ProApp, we've seen that one of the biggest dream destroyers is the lack of accessible and quality education. When people don't have the right resources and guidance to pursue their passions, it can be really challenging to achieve their dreams. Speaking of which, we believe in empowering individuals to chase their dreams through education. That's why we've created ProApp, a revolutionary edtech application that helps people learn design and other creative skills in an engaging and effective way. It might just be the missing piece to help many aspiring dreamers turn their visions into reality. If you're interested in checking it out, feel free to visit us on Product Hunt! I'd say the need for others to understand and support you. If your dreams are big enough they'll scare you... so imagine to others! It's somehow normal they feel like they won't work but we should not let that strop trying!

running out of time and money maybe ?

I think the inability to get out of the head and take action. Taking action and failing is a hundred times better than never having tried.

lack of early wins turning into anxiety and withering your confidence not getting that early validation is really corrosive to confidence!

I'd say the greatest obstacle to people's dreams is the fear of failure, which often leads to self-doubt and hesitation, hindering us from taking bold steps towards our goals, so let's remember that every setback is a set-up for a comeback and keep chasing our dreams with resilience

@roberta1980s was thinking the same thing. I think the best way to overcome fear of failure is by actively exposing yourself to failure. the key is to make sure you learn something from the experience and use that newfound knowledge to try again and improve.

Self-doubt and fear of failure are the biggest dream-killers, undermining people's confidence and preventing them from taking risks or pursuing their passions. https://sophomoremag.com/how-to-...

definitely laziness, self-doubt and no time or money
