We are considering a logo change for our Project Management Platform 'Matilda Workspace'. Which logo do you empathise more with?

Not to bash, but A looks like a loader, and B doesn't look like a unified logo IMHO

I wonder if there's a nice way to contain the four elements in the second version, or make them fit together more cohesively. I would also encourage you to push the color palette beyond these colors—they're already heavily associated with Google and Microsoft.

Second version. The main reason - it seems more "authentic" for me. First version associates with Google products for me. However it can be a good option if association with something well-known is a goal :)
B - less abstract, more understandable what it is.
2nd logo is good its look like kfc Logo history
The second one seems better
A is Unique one
The A option is best
the first one is too massive, reminiscent of Ubuntu. the second is too scattered.
When deciding between two logos, like **Ring** and **Shapes**, it's important to consider how each design aligns with the identity and values of the product or company. Since your platform is focused on **Project Management** (Matilda Workspace), here are some insights into both options:
### **Ring Logo (42%)**
- **Symbolism**: Rings are often associated with continuity, connection, and collaboration, which might resonate with a project management tool focused on teamwork and seamless workflows.
- **Connotations**: The ring can also symbolize unity, wholeness, and a cyclical process—all qualities that could reflect the iterative, organized nature of project management.
- **Usage**: A ring logo could work well for conveying a sense of inclusion and team unity, which are key for any workspace or collaborative platform.
### **Shapes Logo (58%)**
- **Symbolism**: Shapes often communicate structure, organization, and clarity—values that are essential for a project management tool. Clean geometric shapes may reflect the platform’s focus on efficiency and organization.
- **Connotations**: Depending on the specific shapes used, this logo could suggest a systematic, structured environment, which is fitting for a workspace. It could also imply that the platform helps users "build" or "create" their workflows, which is ideal for project management.
- **Usage**: The use of distinct shapes can give off a modern, professional, and versatile feel, which may appeal to businesses or corporate teams using Matilda Workspace for their project management needs.
### **Which logo resonates more?**
- If your platform emphasizes **collaboration, unity**, and a **human-centered approach**, the **Ring** logo might be more fitting.
- If your brand focuses on **structure, organization**, and **efficiency**, the **Shapes** logo could be the better choice.
Ultimately, the decision should be based on which design reflects the essence of **Matilda Workspace** best and how you want users to feel when interacting with the platform. If you have access to user feedback or can run a quick survey with potential users, that might help validate your choice as well!
