Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Shyam, a developer who’s built many SaaS products over the years. But despite putting in endless hours perfecting them, I made one big mistake every time—I didn’t market them properly.
The result? My MRR stayed at zero.
Instead of letting those failures get me down, I decided to turn my hard-learned lessons into a game. 0MRR is a humorous, educational experience where you do the exact opposite of what you should in a SaaS business. Think of it as a zero-marketing muscle workout where you actively ruin your own startup by making hilariously bad decisions.
💡 Motivation: After years of falling into the “perfect product, no marketing” trap, I realized many founders face this too. So, I thought—why not make it fun and teach others to avoid the same fate?
💪 The Hustle:
• I bought the domain name 0mrr.com a few weeks ago.
• I asked ChatGPT for ideas, and I loved the concept of a game where you intentionally fail.
• Using Cursor AI, I built the MVP in just 3 hours, and over the next 4 days, I refined it with 134 commits.
It’s been a wild ride, and there’s still so much to improve, but I decided to ship it and get feedback from the world. I hope you enjoy making all the wrong choices and learning from the hilariously bad mistakes I (and many others) have made in real life.
If you enjoy 0MRR, please show some love! Your feedback and support will keep me hustling.
Looking forward to hearing what you think!

@ssv445 Nice way to put summarised and guide, for recent marketing tactics.
Sometimes the best way to learn is by making all the wrong choices 😂 Excited to see how this helps founders rethink their approach. Congrats on the launch! 🚀
I've played this, and it's really educational. Encountered it on the Indie Hacker site, thank you Shyam for sharing this, in a fun way!

Such an innovative approach to make us learn from our bad decisions that seem so obvious to be taken at some or the other point of time! I could relate with so many mistakes which actually didn't add up much to any project's success.
0MRR sounds like such a fun way to learn from mistakes! Turning failures into a game is a brilliant concept. Definitely trying this out to see how bad I can mess up a startup 😂. Congrats on launching,Shyam.
