@janfromdaito - Regarding privacy and security here's what we do to protect 🔒 your data in a few simple sentences: 👊 We process all your data in memory and throw away everything except the aggregated chart data that you see in the app. 🗑 We delete your access tokens right after generating the data. ⛔️ We do not share your data with any third parties. ✉️ We may however email you occasionally about product updates that you can always opt-out from. Please do let us know if you still have any concern.

Hi Product Hunt! 2021 is a special year - from the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine to billionaires blasting into outer space. It's a mixed bag of hope, optimism, burnout, and surprises. From zoom fatigue to the great resignation, this year also ushered a paradigm shift, as we all adapted to a new normal of work! This "Year In Review" app reveals some useful and unique insights from your calendar data. The app also sifts through your schedule to understand and score your meeting habits. Stats are sometimes dull, so we wrapped it around a space flight 🚀- Jeff Bezos style. We had a great time building this app during our recent internal hackweek. The idea is to celebrate this incredible year with everyone in a fun yet meaningful way. This is our homage to remarkable 2021 - when we all fought uncertainties and yet thrived to make the best of our time! We hope you all will like it! 🙂

Very interesting stats. How does this handle annual leave? I know Google only recognises it as annual leave (and suggests out of office) with certain keywords, is this the same? I'm happy to provide my user data for a fun product, but I'm curious what it's for: how do you plan to monetise this?

@eddyharrod A bit about data privacy, we don't store your raw events. We perform all computation in memory and only store the aggregated data. We also delete your access token when the data processing is done. We don't share your data with any 3rd parties. Regarding monetization: we've a plan to build a comprehensive meeting report from the aggregated data - that'll give a high-level picture of meeting habits across the world. We'll also occasionally email users about our product updates that you can always opt-out. We don't consider annual leaves and OOOs as meetings. We only count events with multiple attendees as meetings. Again, thanks for the questions and feedback.Appreciate it! 🙏
