Is there still a timer on this product to turn it off after a certain amount of time or does it stay on until it is manually turned off?
Alec Petrosky
@thea_mark Thank you for the great question. It really depends on which mode is active. In automatic mode, it keeps the screen on while conditions (tilt/movement/touch) are met. Once none of the conditions are met, AceScreen will time out the screen shortly (around 15 sec). As for manual mode, it'll prevent the screen from sleeping until you turn off the mode or the screen manually. If you wish to turn off the app itself, just toggle "Turn on/off the service".

Hey, Founder of the AceScreen app here. We are so excited to share the app with you! Here's my story behind the creation of the AceScreen app: Some time ago, I often lectured. I used to take my notes for the upcoming class on my brand new Samsung Galaxy S5. But the same misfortune haunted me all the time. At the most inopportune moment of my class, in the place of my notes, I saw a black screen. I probably tried all the apps that were available at that time. Some apps worked better, some worse. But they all let me down. That's why I fell in love with the idea of creating AceScreen. And I didn't notice how this newly created app became my good friend both at work and in everyday life. From the beginning of creating the AceScreen app, our top priorities were the following: - Reliability. The user must be sure that the application does not let you down at the most inconvenient moment. - Simplicity. The user shouldn't get lost in a bunch of settings. The default configuration should be suitable for most users. - Compatibility. AceScreen must support a wide variety of devices, both old phones from the distant years, and flagship models of the next generation. - User privacy. No spying on users, only necessary permissions to work properly. - Battery life. The application should conserve battery power and use other resources of the device gently. Thank you for your upvote. Your feedback is fully welcomed. So feel free to comment here or send your email to feedback@acescreen.app . It is with great pleasure that I hasten to share with you our first promotional video about how AceScreen can make the life of virtually any Android device user easier. We tried to keep the video as short and to the point as possible. As always, we look forward to your feedback on both the video and the app itself.

A lot of things have changed recently, in particular: - Docking Station and USB Connection options are now available to all users, both premium and free. - Dock & USB Connection: Added "Security Lock" and "Black Veil" options. - Added ability to configure Accelerometer sensibility threshold. - Added the ability to keep the screen unlocked, but allow dimming when the device is docked or charging from USB. - Added the feature to protect your device's lock screen from accidental touches. - Automatic mode just got smarter. Now, if you place the device face down on the table, the screen will automatically turn off. If you haven't tried AceScreen yet, then give it a try! Share your impressions of the updated version and, possibly, your comments and feature requests.
