Hey everyone! 😊 I’m so thrilled to finally share the story behind our new product – AdvisorZen.AI with you, people! The story of our product creation started in 2023, as the rapid adoption of OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3.5 and 4 sparked much interest across industries and became a reality rather than a near-future trend. Steve Wilmarth, a university lecturer focused on Fintech and AI, met with his two close colleagues: Vince Esposito, a Certified Wealth Advisor and Managing Partner at Fair Street Advisors with 30 years of experience, and Michael Knight, a seasoned Fintech expert specializing in portfolio operations, risk management, and trading. These people inspired AdvisorZen's first vision as an independent product similar to other AI-based assistants, but it was specifically tailored to the needs of people working in their area — Finance and Wealth Management. Over lunch, they explored a key question and came up with the idea: how could AI be leveraged to save time for wealth advisors, enabling them to focus more on client relationships and less on routine content creation tasks? While AI adoption has steadily increased among tech giants and software firms, the trio identified a gap in the wealth management sector: an intuitive, cost-effective AI agent explicitly designed to boost productivity for small to mid-sized firms. To bring this vision to life, they partnered with me, Alex, an IT professional with 13 years of experience in IT infrastructure and development. That’s how AdvisorZen emerged from this collaboration as a simple, precise, and highly efficient AI tool crafted to deliver tangible ROI for wealth managers.
