Hi everyone, I'm excited to share my first product launch after years of working as an engineer behind the scenes at other companies. AI Study Buddy is your intelligent companion designed to transform how you learn from books and other educational materials. The app creates a seamless learning experience through our current feature set: Current Features: - Voice Recording with Real-Time ASR: Capture your thoughts naturally with automatic speech recognition. - Smart Photo Notes: Easily capture and annotate important pages or sections. - Structured Organization: Keep everything organized in project-based spaces with multi-format entries. Coming Soon: - AI Integration: Ask questions about your notes and discover connections between materials. - Enhanced Photo Features: In-place OCR that preserves layout with smart text extraction. -Knowledge Export: Generate custom study guides and summaries. The app uses an intuitive project-based system where you can: - Create dedicated spaces for different subjects or goals - Add and track source materials like textbooks and research papers - Maintain clarity with our Projects > Source Materials > Notes hierarchy - (Future) Utilize smart tags and cross-project references The app is currently in its alpha phase - I've built the basic mobile app and backend infrastructure, focusing on stability and user experience before implementing the full AI feature set. This is my first mobile application under IdeaLabs, born from a personal need to better organize learning from physical books while preserving the natural flow of study.
