Hey 👋 Product Hunters! I am building Alinea with @eve_halimi and @anam_lakhani. We are building Alinea because when we initially tried investing in stocks, we felt lost and intimidated by the information overload online. The confidence barrier to investing can be very high, especially when you don’t have the right information to evaluate a company. We quickly realized we’re not alone, our friends were also experiencing the same problem. We came together in early 2020 to recreate a new investing experience; one without the overload of charts, financial jargon, and pressure of market volatility. We do the homework, so you can make an informed decision and invest in stocks you believe in. Alinea is an investing app for the next generation who want to own companies reflecting their values. We simplify hard to find research into bite-sized snacks and make it easy to buy and sell stocks. With the pandemic and cough Gamestop cough, investing has become culturally mainstream and so has misinformation on social media. The word Alinea means a new way of doing something and marks a new chapter in investing to make it personal, simple, and insightful. I think its a brilliant idea, to give your users insights of the company they are investing, in app, at the press of a button, especially when the markets are shifting towards more and more impulsive and random traders.

I've been fortunate enough to know Anam and Eve when they were first ideating on Alinea around a year ago. They've made groundbreaking progress since then and I couldn't be more excited for their future endeavours. Quite possibly the most hard working duo I've met.
