What's great

love the concept and the time saving part for eng teams. would be great to have a more flexible tier for occasional users who just need a quick export tho. the tech itself looks very promising

What needs improvement

pricing is the big one. the gap between free and paid is huge if you're just a freelancer. also the code output is good but still needs some cleanup for complex grid layouts. would love to see better auto-responsive logic without manual tweaking in figma

vs Alternatives

mostly just manual coding or zeplin back in the day. figma dev mode is okay but it's getting expensive and doesn't really 'think' like an agent. anima feels like it's actually trying to understand the intent not just the pixels

Was excited to find this tool. Using Figma to create front-end code for my team and try to save some time for the Eng. team. I got the Design team to tweak the design according to Anima recommendations and results improved to show better code... (Some breakpoints needed fixing in Figma and naming the frames really helped) Recommended!

It's a great app for the product team, I can work with the developers on one platform, and show the project to other co-workers and clients (they don't have to sign up for Anima ). I also liked using Anima to build landing pages and go live, really easy to host the site with them as well.
