Looks interesting - Is there any tutorial available?
Luca Damasco
@bobcooper1 Hi Bob! Demos, tutorials, and a community page for this project can be found on WickEditor.com, the original website for this tool! Wick Editor is a free and open source tool and community.

@lucapodular Why not post a link? That Wick Editor site is full of junk - and search is not finding your tool. Time is precious. Do you actually want people to try this? Make it easy!
Luca Damasco
@bobcooper1 We'll be posting to PH this week!

Where is the tutorial or demo so we can learn how to animate something
Luca Damasco
@shiran_sanjeewa Hey Shiran! Demos for this project can be found on WickEditor.com, the original website for this tool! Wick Editor is a free and open source tool and community.

@arinyguedes Super cool! Love this, we are building an online video editor so I know how hard this sort of thing is to build!
Luca Damasco
@arinyguedes Hi Ariny! We're glad you found the Wick Editor. We're happy that you want to share animation with the world, and would love to see the Wick Editor's license, copyright information, and a link back or attribution on the site! Thanks!
ariny
@lucapodular Hi, I have included the links you mentioned. Sorry about that, I didn't know how exactly the license worked. Please let me know if anything else is missing.
Luca Damasco
@arinyguedes Awesome Ariny. Thank you for adding that to your site! As you make changes, make sure they are publicly available. The best way to ensure we can constantly improve the editor is to work together while improving it, so potentially creating a fork is the best bet here to enable easy pull requests and such.

How come you didn't put animated logo or screenshots in your PH launch? :)
Ben Gillbanks
This looks really nice. I made https://Brush.Ninja which is very similar to this, but also much simpler. My app was designed to be super simple whereas yours looks more professional, like a real app. How did you do the mp4 export? Does it work on the server or is there a browser based export library that I could use as well? :)
Luca Damasco
Hey Everyone! This product is actually WickEditor, an open source project that's been running for almost 4 years! Take a look at wickeditor.com and you can find all sorts of community and animation tutorials! (We were featured on product hunt a few years ago) Let us know what you think about our tool, we'd love to hear it! Also, not linking back to our repository, information about the Wick Editor, and open sourcing your own changes on your website is both not in the spirit of open source, and is also against our GNU GPL license terms. We're happy that people want to share animation with the world, and would love to do it together. Thanks!
