👋🏼Hey hunters! 🎓For the thesis of my degree in Computer Engineering I developed Astuto, a software to collect, manage and prioritize user feedback. I was heavily inspired by Canny: indeed "astuto" is the italian translation of the word "canny"! 📊The main difference between Canny and Astuto is that the latter is open source and self hosted. So, at the expense of more time to put into configuring it, you get a free and fully customizable product. ✨ Some features of astuto are: collect and manage feedback, enable users to vote and discuss feedbacks, present a roadmap of the product... 🦊Want to learn more? You can checkout the GitHub page and the live demo. 🧑🏽‍💻👩🏻‍💻Do you want to contribute to Astuto? Check out the contributing section on GitHub and reach us on Astuto's discord channel.

That's amazing! Congrats on the launch @riggraz Well executed and thoughtfully designed application. Also, love the fact it's a Rails app :) Definitely goes to my list of great open source web application developed with rails along with Dev.to https://github.com/thepracticald...

I've been looking for a proper open source feature upvoting tool for ages. I think we can even use it as a way to upvote new books for our app @getstoryshots Thanks a lot for this! Have you considered signing up for Github Sponsors as a way to make the development more sustainable?
Riccardo Graziosi
@theoceanfire thank your for the support. I thought about sponsors but right now I don't think I want them. Primarly because I want to work on astuto when I feel like it and having people paying money would increase responsabilities and make me feel the urge to work on it. However one-time donations may be a good alternative. Anyway, thanks for your support and feedback. I hope you'll like astuto!
