What do you think? …

Hi Doop, I visited commandquarterly.com. it redirected me to your Kickstarter project. This is probably a smart move or maybe not. Any reason why you want to raise funds to build your website and not leveraging your dev skills? I back projects whose founders invested their own time and money into. If you can show us some “progress”, maybe lots of people will chip in.

@ijomablessing thanks for the feedback. It’s odd because I’ve been posting updates about this for a couple of years now in various maybe lesser-known forums. Having only recently gone all in on moving toward coherent updates via the project blog, which can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/proj... The funny thing is I’ve previously announced this project in an earlier phase with a website I felt was sub-par and had no SSL. Don’t want to make that mistake again! And I’m no web developer so it’s just a bit slower going. Anyway, the project is open for testing with builds for Mac, Windows and Linux as well: https://github.com/commandquarte...

@dooplejoy Your idea sounds interesting. It's too early to launch (just saying). I'll keep an eye on it

This software was developed in association with Command Quarterly. A new magazine dedicated to minimalist computing, cryptography and deepweb culture. I wanted to merge minimalist ideas as well as my experience as a Bitcoin core developer into one unique application.

This concept is great but without being able to view your source code, the website redirecting to a Kickstarter page for some reason that isn’t thoroughly explained, and the several shortcomings mentioned in your copy it feels difficult to jump on board right now. Best of luck to you on furthering the development of Blackpage and I will keep an eye out for updates.

@dawsondepretis Fair enough, thanks a lot!
