Buttercup is the simplest and one of the most beautiful password manager apps out there. Project is open source and secure by design. There's a really handy password generator inside too. It started with one platform, now it's available on Mac, Linux, Windows, Android, iOS. It also has Chrome and Firefox extensions!

We made Buttercup to support our growing need for a truly cross-platform and free password management utility. Today it's available on a variety of platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Chrome, Firefox and Opera) and we couldn't be happier with its direction. This Android application can connect to and use Buttercup archives like all the other software in our suite. It uses the same strong level of encryption and connects to the same free cloud storage solutions that our other apps support. It will always remain free and open source.
