Go head-to-head against an AI to see who's better at writing tweets. A machine learning model trained on 47k tweets predicts the number of likes. Play the mini-game to show us what you got - may the superior intelligence win!
Hello from Toronto! My name is Sarim, and I am an Indiehacker who's been building and launching products on Product Hunt for over five years.
"Can you out tweet an AI?" is a game where you go head to head against an AI to see whose tweets will garner the most likes. A Machine Learning model trained on 47k tweets predicts the number of likes.
The original idea for "Can you out tweet an AI?" was to set up two Twitter accounts: one where I post tweets on random topics written by me and another account where I post tweets on the same topics but written by ChatGPT. I wanted to know if AI-generated content is capable of accumulating more likes.
However, when I came across a dataset on Hugging Face containing tweets about ChatGPT and the respective number of likes - it clicked: training an ML model to predict likes will be a much faster way to see who is objectively sassier, humans or AIs.
I'll publish a blog post soon on https://sitenote.ai/journal detailing the journey of building the product (Spoiler alert: got a lot of help from ChatGPT). In the meantime, enjoy the game and let me know what you think.
May the superior intelligence win!

An amazing idea! Competing against AI is always fun! Even though I lose in the tweet contest almost always
Interesting idea. Seems like a big competition when you can 'beat' the AI. Especially when nowadays a lot of people tend to think that AI is better than human in so many aspects and you can actually see that it's not always the case even through a fun game. Congratulations on the launch!
@sandradjajic well put. TBH, I tried Dall E to create assets for Product Hunt, the results were disappointing to say the least!

💡 Bright idea
That was fun! Managed to get 139 likes vs the 95 of the AI, but I have to say I tried harder than I care to admit haha. Would've loved a more expansive recap at the end. On a 'sidenote' sitenote looks like a cool project, gonna check it out!
@jhrlund awesome feedback! I’m thinking of a ticker style ‘breaking news’ experience at the end recapping what happened as if it was a news story 🤔 I’ll think about it more. BTW, please let me know if you need any help setting up sitenote 🙏
