Empower your team's career growth and progression with our free tech ladder generator. Set expectations, track performance, and drive meaningful career conversations for individualized success.
Hey fellow hunters and makers! π
I'm excited to announce the launch of the Career Tracker. While developing this tool, our main focus was to create a user-friendly and intuitive platform that empowers managers to create their own practical career ladder, enabling them to track and monitor their team's progress effectively.
This tool not only provides a seamless experience but also helps you establish clear career expectations with your team, encourages meaningful career conversations, identifies the right time for promotions, and promotes transparency as a core value within your team.
Here are a few tips to help you get started:
π Begin by creating your ladder using either a baseline from other companies or starting from scratch.
π’ Share it with your entire team by making it public!
π Evaluate your team's performance without any bias.
πͺ Keep track of your team's development using a single tool that offers better insights.
Best of all, it's completely free to use. So go ahead, give it a try, and don't forget to share your thoughts and feedback with us!
A special thanks to the entire Revelo team! <3

@michael_lowndes Thanks a lot! And how did you end up solving this problem early on in your career?
Report
@paola_greggio I'm not sure that I ever did solve it! Eventually I became brave enough to start asking my manager more specific questions about my career progression, but it was very hard to build up that courage when I was young and new to the workforce.
@michael_lowndes Of course, it makes a lot of sense.
If you are a manager now, I hope you do it differently for your team and provide them with guidance instead of waiting for the brave ones to ask for it.
And if you aren't there yet, you could suggest your leader start building up a framework to give transparency to the team.
Luckly now there is the Career Tracker to help out and make that task to the manager easier :)
