What do you think? …

Callie Gladys
Thank you for building this - it is SO important. How do you think of keeping the community engaged with it? It would be amazing to integrate important pieces of news that affect the tracker, ex: results of new IPCC report, big renewable investments across the world, etc. And maybe have push notifications letting people know what happened and how it affects the tracker. Thanks for sharing!
Alex from ClimateChangeTracker.org
@callie_gladys Thank you for your feedback Callie ❤️ We are looking into several approaches on community engagement. Ideas are also welcome! The state of our data and content reflects always the most recent IPCC reports and scientific data, this is one of our primary goals. We also try to stay focused on the primary insight and significance of every metric and chart and being a good proxy to more details. We are also looking into ways to add metrics of humanity’s engagement, like renewable investments and similar. Even though this is less scientific we think this is important. Push notifications and other features focused on data updates will be also part of upcoming features. 🌎
Giuseppe Di Nuccio
Hey Alex, I love your product! Metrics definition and monitoring is exactly the right way to understand the problems and (hopefully) to take informed actions and decisions. It would be great to have such dashboards (maybe customizable with other desired metrics) available for specific countries or industry sectors, or maybe for a company, how it's contributing to the overall CO2 emission, etc. Of course it depends on the availability of APIs and data around the world.. Again great work and keep going!

@giuseppe_di_nuccio Thank you Giuseppe, we love your detailed feedback! We are working on several additional trackable breakdowns of human greenhouse gas emissions and other metrics. You are right: good data is key. Luckily we have a great team working to make it possible! 🙌

Hi @alexacct I second @giuseppe_di_nuccio feedback! Your product is one of the most innovative tools ever made so far. The dashboard is excellent, I suggest when you click on a card, it shows in full width, then the full text is scrollable while the card is pinned. All responsive ;-) That way, it will be a powerful and indisputable tool for online workshops, conferences... Also, it will be great to have a dark mode option in a sticky header (I don't see where to access dark mode). The Youtube live stream is a great idea for inspiring usage! From now, I am following you on social networks, and following your updates from here. I am thinking of preparing, producing, and broadcasting an interview on social networks, or an interactive virtual workshop, to spread the word about your tool for our human consciousness and education and climate data understanding. Maybe we can start to invite here with the +100 people who liked the product. What do you think? What do you think everybody? Huge congrats on what you are doing!
Alex from ClimateChangeTracker.org
@rudy_arconte Wow, thank you Rudy, we are thrilled by your compliments!!! It motivates us even more to go the extra miles and build great tools! We definitely look next days into your suggestions and use cases of online workshops, conferences and how we can implement this in a use case friendly and user friendly way. ✅ Dark mode switch is underway. Currently it just follows the system dark/light appearance setting. We love your ideas of an interview or interactive virtual workshop, definitely way to go! 🌍💪

@alex_cct Wow! Thank you for your encouraging response. I will keep you posted when I will be ready to present you the process. Cheers!

We think it is crucial to track a problem and its metrics for being able to solve it. Our mission is to create an up-to-date tracker of the Global Warming and Climate Change problem, based on the latest available data from trusted scientific sources. With that we want to decrease the costs and efforts to communicate latest metrics, insights and data on climate change. It becomes easily trackable and hopefully a helpful contribution to solve climate change in long term.

A very useful tool! All information on the climate situation on the planet is on your screen. Greta Thunberg may be retiring))

Looks great. Amazing charts and loads of info.

@jsteneros Thank you Johan ❤️

Hey, the dashboard is fantastic – it's so important to have data in a structured and well-written way for easy access by wide-audience. But some things to consider: maybe the anomaly distribution globe is not well-readable and the 'share link' button shouldn't lead to mailto – there're some better ways to share stuff in 2022 :) Good luck with distributing this project to people worldwide!
Alex from ClimateChangeTracker.org
@marat_murz Thanks Marat for taking time to give us detailed feedback ❤️ We are working to improve readability of the distribution anomaly and make it more interactive and even more enjoyable. Share Link button uses currently the native browser API to trigger the OS+browser native sharing menu. The fallback is a mailto link, f.e. on macOS+Firefox. We’ll improve in future to make both options available. 💫

Congrats on the launch - we need to track it to tackle it! Will check it out
