Hi Product Hunt friends :) Hi, I'm JP 👋 For the past months, @philbirt 🧔🏻 and I have been working on a new dapp called CryptoCare, and it's a platform leveraging ERC-721 tokens to gamify philanthropy and make supporting mission-driven organizations a more enjoyable experience. A lot of good-hearted 💞 people in the tech community hold sums of Ether, and we've heard from many of them that they're looking for ways to use that wealth to donate to something meaningful 💸. Currently, there is not an easy or fun way to share some of that good fortune. We were inspired by the anonymous donor behind the Pineapple Fund 🍍, who recently donated tens of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency to charities around the world. We are building an experience that encourages more people to do similar altruistic deeds on a small to large scale, as every penny counts for these missions to succeed. In addition, we hope to raise awareness of impact-driven and technologically-forward organizations, increase the exchange of Ether on decentralized applications, and strengthen Ethereum's social impact community 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. We have partnered with 9 high-impact causes (Electronic Frontier Foundation, GiveDirectly, and Heifer International, 350.org, WildMe, Rainforest Foundation US, GRACEaid, Fight for the Future, Freedom of the Press Foundation). We are all very excited about the fun experience and the ability for donors to anonymously donate in a peer-to-peer fashion. We really appreciate any and all support. 🙏✨💕
