A monthly subscription which gives you unlimited access to a designer's mind via slack or 1 to 1/1 to many Zoom calls. Talk about design strategy, features, and ways to optimize or improve your current funnels, conversion rates or user experience.
Interesting concept!
Though some feedback: if you're going to sell your "mind" as a service, it might be good to provide even more context into "who you are."
Right now there's only a small blurb and a link to your portfolio in the FAQ section. I imagine most customers of what you're offering through DesignMind will be wondering: who are you, how do we know we can trust you, and why should we give YOU (of all people) our money?
You're touting the ease of use and access features, which are nice, but the real product is your mind... so optimize the landing page for upselling your years of experience, past clients, testimonials from your peers, etc.
@tannerc Yes you are absolutely right and is my top priority right now.
Do you think a single section showing who I am, a bit about my experience, work, and a few testimonials etc would be enough? (Im a little hesitant to show design work on designing itself, as I don't want to give the impression that those services are a possibility for them)
Hello Product Hunters 👋
I'm Kieran Parker, a Product Designer who works alongside starups and founders to help plan, design, and improve their product, website or service.
I am also the creator of this product; DesignMind. An unlimited design consultation service that acts as a backseat designer, helping you make improvements and giving advice, feedback and guidance on your website or digital product.
Having worked alongside many solo founders, startups, and companies throughout the years. After wrapping up a project, I am often asked if I can stick around on a client's Slack channel "just in case".
Typically, I find that these previous clients ask me for feedback, input, guidance, advice, or even "do I have a few minutes spare to chat through an idea via zoom?"
Through this interaction, I noticed how much value there is in simply having access to a designer's thoughts, experience and guidance. The ability to quickly ask "does this look right" or "Anything you would change to do X" is something many that don't have an experienced designer on staff miss out on.
This is why I created DesignMind so that you can pay for that access via a monthly subscription. With an option for either Asynchronous (Slack) or Synchronous (Zoom/Hangouts), DesignMind can fit into your workflow and provide value in a way that you find best.
If you think this may be something you could benefit from but are not ready to pull the trigger, book a call, and we can figure out if it will work for you/your company.
Otherwise, open to all feedback and would love it if you could share it with anyone you think may find it interesting.

Oh, also, as a thank you to all of the Product Hunt users out there, use code "ph-launch" to get 10% off your subscription for as long as it is active!

@kieranparker77 I think this is a wonderful idea. I asked someone to lend me his mind this week, but he's more like an industrial engineer. So I validate the need.
@madebysan yeah great idea. It’s often handy to have an external/fresh view even with a designer team.
But I guess also handy as a solo designer to get input too. Wonder if it’s worth creating another “package/option” for this sort of designer to designer option?
@kieranparker77 100%. the focus and conversation will definitely be different than talking to non-designers. if you can make it accessible (and even introduce async via figma comments) I could see a lot of junior designers or solo designers using it.
@madebysan for sure!
I was toying with the idea of making different “use cases” similar to framer.com and this may just have to be one of those use cases!
Appreciate the input Santiago!

hey ?makers great concept and nice landing page. I am not sure of your pricing model as I see it very expensive to have such a consultancy service with this high fees (monthly!) however, good luck.
