Hey all; I thought about this product when I had my first child born; Frequently, my wife would go back through our baby photos and look at how much the kid has grown, then i thought how useful it could be if we could put it into a bit of an album and watch on the TV. We didn't want to hassle with using google photo albums; I just wanted a quick and easy way i could take a picture, "share to" my tape, and then go home to watch it later, maybe keep it around for a while and keep adding to it so we can watch her grow at her 18th. I was also inspired by home movie footage my father-in-law took; we don't quite have that nowadays, so this is an attempt to be able to re-create that... I wanted the pricing model to be "buy once, keep forever" to encouage easy long term adoption, rather than a user paying monthly fees for the next 18 years.

I can imagine how convenient it would be to share these montages with friends and family. It's like creating a digital scrapbook of memories. I'm definitely going to check it out and give it a try.

@felix_f_tao Hey thanks for the comment, that is the type of vibe I'm going for. "scrapbook' is a nice term, I might try and work that into the description a bit. At the moment it's still too early / MVP to be of real use; but the response has been positive so far, so perhaps I have a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks for the support :)

@german_merlo1 yes it is; I want to try and retain the "humanist" aspects of it. Just because we don't carry around "super-8" tapes and camcorders, doesn't mean we should miss out on fun, amateur home movies from our former selves :)
