Hey, guys & gals, thank you for taking a look at my app! concept Event Miser is a simple, easy to use, events platform, focusing on small community events. Things you run into as you walk through town, and wonder, "why didn't I know about that?" The platform also caters to meet-ups. If you're looking for people to bike with, skate with, etc, you can post a looking for group / meet-up post. design The site is designed to be as simple to use as possible. With just category, city, and sort options. There is no algorithm curating your content list, so the result set is completely deterministic. When you reach the end, you know you've seen everything, which I think feels nicer than the infinite scroll where you don't know how much you've seen. content Since the site relies on user generated content, there is nothing on the site just yet. That's why I need some lovely early adopters :), who would like to help grow the community. The content in the pictures is just development gibberish / test data. Set your location to Detroit, MI to see it (just till we get some real content). The site is free. We will make money by offering a "nearby businesses" ad section once we get going. me I am a solo developer. and I am looking for a marketing partner. stack The backend is in C. MariaDB database. No front end frameworks or libraries, just vanilla JS. The site is hosted on my own hardware, but it is behind cloudflare. feedback. Please give me your thoughts on the concept, design, controls, is it intuitive, and especially mobile usability. What kind of cross platform integration / sharing would you like to see? Thank you!

Congratulations on launching this fantastic platform! It’s exciting to see a tool that connects people with local events and meet-ups, helping to foster community engagement. I’m particularly intrigued by the ability to promote events and find groups for specific activities. This could be a game-changer for those looking to expand their social circles or discover new hobbies. Have you considered adding a feature to filter events based on interests or user ratings? That could enhance the user experience even further. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to see how this grows!
