Must have tool for developers! Can't imagine my development workflow without it. Easily share you local website with others, and test webhooks without configuring a server. Just type `expose` and it works 🤩
Di
@larsklopstra Thank you so much, Lars! Glad it makes your dev life easier. ☺️

Hi - looks beautiful! Are there any benefits/features over ngrok? Or, perhaps, a comparison chart we can reference? Thank you!
Marcel Pociot
@andy_slezak1 Hi Andy! We don't have a comparison chart, but the main benefit over ngrok for me is the dashboard. It gives you a cleaner UI of the information and has some nice features such as copying payload data as PHP arrays, or copy a request as CURL. Custom domains work via SSL, even on wildcard subdomains, which is something that ngrok does not support. The other major benefit is that it is entirely open-source, while ngrok 2.x is no longer open-source.

I use expose regularly, it works really great. There's no simpler way to quickly test your website on a real mobile device.
Di
@tpetry One of my favourite use-cases as well. Thank you, Tobias 🙂

Very nice, easy to use ngrok alternative (and more)!

Hi! I’m Marcel, creator of Expose, and I’m super excited to share Expose with you! Expose started as an open-source alternative to ngrok pretty much 1 year ago. It has a beautiful local dashboard to inspect and replay incoming HTTP requests. The Expose client, as well as the server, are written entirely in PHP, and I use Expose every day to simplify working with webhooks or just to share my local development sites with colleagues or clients. You can sign up at expose.dev and get your free expose authentication token so that you can share your own sites in a matter of seconds! With Expose Pro, you get access to our global server network as well as the ability to reserve custom subdomains and even bring your own custom domain - of course with free SSL. If you would rather host Expose yourself, you can do that as well, as Expose itself is open-source and available on GitHub. Let me know if you have any questions!
