Hey @kylhss ! Thanks for your comment, you're right, it is indeed similar to our friends over at Retro Patents and many other websites out there selling patent prints (check out Etsy you'll find many variations).
I like to think that our designs are quite unique, we print small quantity batches in London on very high quality embossed paper which give these posters a very unique look. We'll aim to feature patents that are not the most obvious ones you'd find everywhere else and hope that we'll find an audience that can relate to these ideas!
Let us know if you have any suggestions!
@kylhss Yup, this seems to be a carbon copy! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that but using the same website template and copy is a bit sad 😞
This is the world we live in now. You do something creative by creating a brand around a product and someone comes along a steals it. Same product, same site, same image, same text, same navigation... at least try and be some bit different
Thanks for the hunt Morgan! This is a side project of mine I recently launched, glad to see it featured on PH 😀!
The idea came to life last Christmas actually as I was trying to find something nice I could gift my colleagues, we have a Risograph (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ri...) at work so I started playing around with a few ideas and ended up printing blueprints of patents which later gave life to Fancy Patents!
If you fancy 😇 getting one for your home or your office, make sure to use the code "PRODUCTHUNT" at checkout to grab 20% off your order!
Ideas & suggestions welcome!

what else more is there to say?
Pros:a copycat...even the language
Cons:think of your own model
