Hi Hunters! I’m Hamish, the maker of FeedZen. The idea for this app came from an existing chrome extension: News Feed Eradicator for Facebook. The thing I loved about NFE is that you can still access messaging, events, groups etc. Using it freed up loads of time but nothing existed for iPhones - so I made my own and extended it for other websites. Before, visits to Facebook consisted of endless scrolling and refreshing - now, I can go in, do what needs to be done, and get out. My productivity and mental wellbeing has improved as a result, and that’s exactly how I want my users to feel 😃 Get FeedZen for free now only on the Apple App Store.

@hamish_johnson Just so that you're aware for competition purposes, solutions do exist for iPhones. Here are the two apps I have on both my iPhone & iPad for Safari -- • 'Feedless' blocks Facebook, Twitter & Instagram feeds: Free for FB, $0.99/mo subscription for Twitter/Instagram (Personally, I only use it for Facebook; don't have Instagram and don't want to block my Twitter) • 'Shut Up: Comment Blocker' hides comments on pretty much every site I visit (except those I whitelist): free -- I also have this installed on all of my desktop browsers

First, I really like FeedZen's UI, so congrats on that! Second, I admire your product vision - very focused and transparent on what this product will and won't do. Keep up the wonderful work @hamish_johnson!

This is neat! Is there any way you could block posts with keywords? Like a lot of posts on Facebook are fine for me, but political posts and rants are annoying to see. Could there be a way to hide those posts?
Hamish Johnson
@michdavidadams Unfortunately no, Apple's content blocker API doesn't allow this
