👋 Hello Producthunt! I'm the maker of Firefiles. I was just tinkering around and built this side-project for fun. This was basically a spin-off of my old project - Angelfiles, which was basically a firebase based file hosting service. Would appreciate your feedback on this project :)

@faisalsayed10 Really nicely done Faisal! I'm not sure - but you might want to look at electron - to maybe offer this as a desktop app? Keep it up!
Faisal Sayed
@digstack Sure thing, I'll add that to my upcoming features list!

@faisalsayed10 Good for you, curious to your thoughts on https://www.digstack.com too? (That's a project I'm working on).
Faisal Sayed
@digstack Ah that's a nice project, just saw it. Good work!

Cool project! I like the ease of self-deployment! And thanks for making it open-source! If you plan to improve it, my input would be to replace ugly google content sharing links with prettier links on the same domain, or pair it up with Firebase Dynamic Links to create pretty aliases with firebase linked domains when using the share button for convenience. Thanks!

@ropepop Thanks for your feedback. I'll add this feature to my feature list!

Great work, well done - it’s a little weird to see a $0 option and then a free option. Maybe swap them round or do “from $0” or something. Or just have one option for now? Looks great though, it’s a minor nit pick
Faisal Sayed
@simon_barker1 Ah thanks for that, I'll try to change it
