Seems like Second Life was the "first 3D social network"... granted, users recreated the cities, so this is a little different — but I'm not sure being "first" here is the most compelling way to position this.

@chrismessina We make it super easy for users to immediately immerse themselves in the city they live in via 3D model of it, engage with others at places of their lives and look at social in a new and different perspective. Every place here has a timeline and users can additionally drop a pin any place and create their own. In that aspect of visual 3D mix with social, we think we're the first.

@chrismessina Initially not much as we're just launching; focusing on NYC. We've added an Explore Wall, which gathers all posts in Flyy into one timeline. From there, users go to the respective places' timelines. It helps know quickly what's happening around. Once density starts to increase, users would probably focus and engage in areas that matter to them
