Really grateful to @nireyal for championing this! Hi PH, Mick from FOCI here. We’re excited to be launching FOCI 2 - our second generation, award winning productivity wearable, both on Product Hunt and Kickstarter. It’s almost magical. If you are willing to bear some of the quirks of machine learning - for example, don’t wear it to sleep as it skews the ML training data. Other productivity tools’ capacity to track your performance dulls in the face of FOCI. My personal favorite is the flow - which really puts creative professions like us (makers) into the best state we can be. Biofeedback training is indispensable to my flows. In a nutshell, it is an AI generated audio plus dynamic breath pacing to help balance the sympathetics-parasympathetics to get users into the zone. That is the real magic, or should I say 'engineering magic’. We composed abstraction layers from ML, biofeedback mechanism and control theory to get users in the optimal Yerkes-Dodson. It is not total victory yet, because the learning curve is not totally flat yet for all users, but we can definitely crack it with future software updates. Most importantly, our team is very small and too much skewed towards the tech side, we would really love to hear the feedback from PH communities so we can pack the tech away from a geeky product to a more mainstream product, where more students and creative professionals can benefit from this underlying productivity technology. @nireyal @desi_saran1 Thank you Desi! There is no monthly subscription for FOCI. FOCI 2 is just funded and trending #1 on Kickstarter project popularity! However, we are likely to ship out the FOCI 2 units starting from April.
