Very cool! I'd suggest you to highlight selected item inside the whole list, because it's a little hard to see what i've chosen on 13" screen. And i'd prevent user from choosing similar items to prevent beer brut-forcing : )

This is really cool! 🙌🏽 I have a suggestion if you won't mind 😊 I was able to select an item 4 times. So if somebody would want to rig the voting system they'll cast their favourite food 4 times to make it happen.

I like the food desig idea. This Food and Recipe Website using the similar concept of food program.
