Whoa, that's amazing. There are so many wonderful places with food, so it's quite complicated to choose one sometimes. The idea is good. Perhaps, there will be an opportunity to make some money for the influencers from ads.

Wow, awesome idea. Who doesn't follow Instagram food influencers nowadays?! I have so many saved posts on Instagram for these sorts of things, but always forget about them when the time to try out a new restaurant actually comes. FoodieMap would have it all there for me. What happens if a certain influencer is not found on FoodieMap? Would you be able to add them?

@carlitosway You can offer restaurants additional features for a fee, such as the ability to publish an expanded menu. Or the ability to show up as a priority. These are very raw ideas, you have to think about it πŸ˜„

Hi Product Hunt, here is FoodieMap.io πŸ—Ί ! I like food and discovering new restaurants...for this reason, I follow and get advices from INSTAGRAM Food Influencers. But once I'm in the street (in my city or visiting a new city) I don't know where the closest restaurants (advised by my fav Instagram Food Influencers) are by just reading the influencer's posts or browsing their Instagram profiles. SO, I decided to geo-localise the restaurants by my fav Instagram Food Influencers. Before I had a private Google Maps map where I manually added the pins of the restaurants and thanks to GPS I was able to find them around me BUT now FoodieMap.io can do this job automatically for me starting from an Instagram username. For now only London is available but we plan to add new cities soon it this MVP get traction. It was optimised to be used with smartphones but you can also use it with Desktop.
