Hey Product Hunt - Malea and I are the co-founders of Foreword 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️ Not gonna lie - it's been a windy journey for us with a pivot (or two), but we're so excited to finally be here! Thanks @mwseibel for hunting us 🙏🏼 We're making it super easy to browse and join interactive online workshops on all the topics we wish we had help with at startups: becoming a manager, working remotely, navigating stress, and others (https://www.foreword.live/featured). Historically - companies have turned to in-person trainings, but they're expensive and long-winded 😪. That's why recorded on-demand classes (MOOCs) were all the rage a decade ago, but what they provide in convenience, they tend to lose out on engagement. With Foreword, we're combining the best of both: interactive live sessions without losing the convenience of doing things online. Our workshops are punchy (1-2hrs in length), packed with actionable tools, and led by expert-vetted facilitators that have done trainings for companies like Facebook, Nike, Pinterest, and a ton of YC startups. It's crazy to think that most of us lose out on formal learning opportunities when we graduate from school. We're looking to change that 😇 You'd also be surprised by how HR teams at startups are interested in paying for your trainings. @mwseibel @foreword @brianjohnpark Looks super interesting Brian! I think for fast scaling companies, learning and development can be a big challenge, and it seems like this makes it very easy to level up your team. Few questions: Are you considering adding a review system? Are the classes shared between companies? Or is any class or workshop work you join as an employee only with your colleagues?

thanks @samuelbeek! ratings and reviews are definitely in the pipeline and a popular feature request :) We have private workshops for teams, but we also have shared sessions where folks can also join on their own. There's quite a bit of flexibility!

How big a company are you targeting as customers? A "scalable L&D program" sounds like enterprise to me, but does it work for startups that are only 15 or 20 people?

Absolutely! We've worked with startups that's as small as just the founding team. Pricing is super flexible where you can book just a seat (or two) in a session and we also have group/volume discounts if you want to send a larger crew.
