Virtual rooms are like real ones where you can walk, talk and move objects. We offer many collaboration tools for teambuilding, brainstorming, lessons and other activities. GetLocus isn't a video chat, but a meeting space. Get your location in a digital world!
A year ago, our team (like your teams 😔) found themselves without face-to-face meetings, bloody covid-19😤. We tried different services but as it usually happens with developers we had to create our own service.
The problem we were solving concerned a convenient space for group work. We've been experimenting with a new tool for group work that would be more productive than Zoom/Skype/Slack/Miro/Mural etc. These days, many companies are digitizing the flipchart (hi, FigJam👋). Our team decided to look at it differently, and we digitized not a flipchart, but an entire space. The space has not only a semblance of a flipchart with its stickers, charts, and figures, but also communication, fanning, watching videos together, and most importantly - we ourselves😃.
GetLocus is an immersive online space for team building, networking, parties, etc. Our users include a team of designers who have set up a virtual office and don't have to make an appointment to contact each other. All they have to do is move their avatar with a click of the mouse. For example, designer Peter (👨💻) moves his avatar to the table where his colleague Ann (👩💻)sits and asks if he likes the shade of purple on the "buy" button? Our other users run training sessions and their effectiveness is much higher because they manage to keep their empathy online.
The main features:
⚡️ Everyone has an avatar with a video link that can be moved around the space;
⚡️ It's easy to divide users into groups, just drag your avatar around. The sound works like in the physical world: the further away you are from others, the worse they hear you and you hear them;
⚡️ Each user can share images, pdfs, links, work screen, write notes, spickes on the whiteboard, and chat;
⚡️ There are specific roles of organizer and moderator that help participants be more efficient;
⚡️ Users can make scheme and сanvas with stickers and even edit them together. WOW! 😅
⚡️ Everything works from the browser, no need to download anything or register anywhere.
There are a few other features I haven't written about since trying a product always gives more experience than reading a description. Check out getlocus.io, get to know the product, invite your colleagues and friends, and write us feedback. It's the basis for making product decisions for us 🙏
The idea is very clear. I love the light and refined UI and transparent Ux of this startup. The sound/distance idea is awesome! You should get more exposure!
Do you have IH page for this one?
@helen_shol Now we are focusing on tools for training, team building, and collaborative visual schemes.

I am engaged in adapting gL for group training: I organize laboratory tests of this platform at the Faculty of Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. I also moved my own trainings and workshops to the platform. I gathered a group of business trainers who began to develop and conduct their online trainings on this platform. We have already developed a lot of life hacks and technical solutions that make it easier to prepare and conduct trainings on the gL platform. The tests show that the gL platform is a very promising solution for business training (especially for managing group dynamics), which has a great potential for development. Discussions of the test results can be found in the "Digitalization of Learning" group https://vk.com/onlinetraininglab

GetLocus is an easy online platform that I use for online classes with my students (groups and individuals). This interactive space allows me to create lessons that are like a real computer game. And of course my students love it.
We play board games and everyone can throw a dice and move. Children like it much more than Zoom classes and it's cheaper. Actually it is absolutely free if you have less than 5 students. I would recommend everyone to check it out. I hope you will enjoy working with it as much as I do.
