@yasec_kowalski We create a private key locally and use it to encrypt every data that it's being sent to the peers (so every peer needs to have a key to read the data). The backup f or the document it's also stored encrypted with the key, the key it's randomly created for each document.

Trying it out...the "share" function doesn't work for me in Firefox. Whether I click "Copy one step" or "Copy two step" nothing happens. And where do I get the password to open elsewhere?

@dfoster I'll take a look, we tested it using Opera and Chrome, maybe it could work for u in those browsers for now

P2P encrypted multiplayer docs - interesting concept! What prompted you to make it? Who are you building it for? Also I'd love to hear more about how you built it - I've heard great things about Tiptap...what was the most challenging part of making this encrypted? Was there an impact on multiplayer performance? How secure is this? Any future plans to make it more secure?

@rajiv_ayyangar We built this for people that want to share documents without worrying about security, we don't know how safe it is to use google docs. - The most challenging part was defining the architecture for the project. - It's pretty safe btw, you can't read the data w/o the private key. - we could make it safer by using rsa.
