Hello everyone! We created Health Conscious to address the chronic health epidemic we face today. Did you know that 1 in 2 American adults suffers from at least one chronic condition such as high blood pressure or diabetes? It is also estimated that over 80% of these conditions are preventable. That means that by making lifestyle changes, people can prevent, improve, or even reverse these common health ailments. The problem is that much of the population lacks time, money, and access to high quality resources. So we created Health Conscious to solve that problem. It is a digital educational platform to help people improve their health in an affordable and convenient way. Our programs were developed and reviewed by board certified physicians and wellness coaches, so we teach both the medical knowledge and then the action steps to implement that understanding. Our platform consists on a web app and companion mobile app. The web app, https://healthco.app, gives users full access to the health monitor, community forum, courses, video library, and subscription preferences. Our mobile app gives users access to their coursework, community forum, and health monitor on the go. Our payment model is Pay-What-You-Can with the mission to give all communities access to high quality education. We launched in March of this year and were unable to move forward with much of our efforts because of the pandemic.
