@andrewwhacks That's a great idea. We already had a task in the backlog to mark an update as part of a current trip (if it applied) so adding a "travel journal" style view to all updates grouped by a trip wouldn't be terribly hard to add. @isellonline Yes. Just register an account like normal. Once you're logged in, on the left side, click the "My Affiliate Account" and sign up there. A paid account is not required to be an affiliate. Once your trial expires and if you haven't purchased a subscription then your account will remain open for affiliate use only.

@frania_james Hi Frania, thank you for your question. As for location, it is something you update manually. Since it's done via our Telegram integration we have no way of monitoring your live location. Though that is something we've slated to look into as Telegram does support it but the bot interface may not quite yet.

HelpYouFind.Me is a secure end-to-end encrypted "If I Go Missing" file service. True crime buffs will get that reference but if you're not quite sure what it is, it's basically a way to store very personal and potentially life saving data and share it with your loved ones should they need it in an emergency. More info here: https://helpyoufind.me/if-i-go-missing-file/ All data is encrypted in your web browser (using the WebCrypto API) so by the time our servers get it, it's already encrypted. We can never access it. Here are some of the features: - Store specific details, instructions, scenarios, etc. - Store account details for things like banking, social media, email, credit cards, cell phone providers, etc. - Upload files like birth certificates, recent photos, wills, life insurance policies, etc. - ALL private data is end-to-end encrypted using a public/private key system similar to PGP. - Telegram bot to let you update on the go via your smart phone. - Update your current location, photos, updates via the Telegram bot. Essentially this is an easy way to leave breadcrumbs. - Securely share this data or updates and set rules for each specific share for how it's accessed. - Share full travel itineraries. There's a lot more but this is the gist of the core pieces. This was originally built when my oldest daughter went off to college and my younger daughter was doing a lot of traveling for sports. I wanted a way to keep track of them, important details, etc. while still respecting their privacy. I also wanted a way to update my family all at once so I wasn't repeating things to my daughters, my mom, ex-wife, my girlfriend, etc. I was always worried if something happened to someone I cared about that it would take days, weeks, or longer for the authorities to be able to get this info that could potentially be life saving. After showing some friends from the youth sports world who were in the same situation as me with their kids, they asked to use it. Then they asked for their extended friends/families to use it. So I decided it was time to get to work and make this an actual product. In the last few months we've added more features (Files, subscriptions), stability improvements, and worked with a security contractor to do a code review. Some new features we're working on are: - Emergency Broadcast - Update your location and immediately notify all of your shared contacts. - Share with you important information for your current area (ie, nearest hospital, local police numbers, current crime data, crime spike hot spots to avoid) - Integrations with other safety focused services and applications. We're launching on ProductHunt to put it in front of the maximum number of people who can benefit from it. In the end, we all have people we care about.
