@henrik_holth
Thank you for being a core part of building HOLD X, Henrik. Your feedback has been great these last couple of months and hopefully we succeeded in helping you single task.
@percival Thanks for hunting us, and for being an avid user of HOLD. Your feedback has been very much appreciated.
Since our first launch on PH in October - HOLD X , we’ve conducted 200 in-depth user interviews and realized this: Productivity solutions are made unnecessarily complicated.
There are more than a million productivity tools and books out there, but how many of them succeed in helping you and me to improve our productivity? How many of us use them regularly?
The fact is... you need to devote your life to those tools to see the full benefits. That's why only a tiny percentage of people truly maximize their potential.. We call them superhumans.
We need something simple. Something that fits with our workflow and helps us get things done. Without the need to wake up at 4 AM.
We strongly believe in the 80/20 rule, where 20% of the effort leads to 80% of the outcome. Based on these insights, we’ve made something simple. A tool that will help you plan your day, keep you focused on the task at hand and motivated throughout the workday.
We’ve made a ton of changes in this release to make productivity simple.
Help us build the first productivity tool for humans, not superhumans
Give it a try and let us know what you think 👋

Love the all-in-one solution. It's rare for a productivity extension to have blocking features, and a calendar, and a todo-list... Any plans for a Firefox version?
@maxdesalle Definitely in the works to bring Hold X to a Firefox near you!... Just hasn't made to the top of the priority tree just yet. Firefox is definitely a place we'd like to be, as it and it's users resonate with our company from a values (see: privacy) perspective. We're very adamant on ensuring our users that we keep any data we capture to a minimum, and that we DO NOT sell it.
Report
@thom_wheeler Awesome to hear! Privacy is a sector which will gain a lot of importance in the future, so you are making the right move by giving it the priority.

I have both tried and used Hold now over a great period of time, and finally signed up to this product! It is well worth the investment in increased productivity. And not to mention the peace of mind to have helped me to learn how to prioritise what to focus on at any given day! Thanks Team Hold :) Well done
@hnders_holm Awesome to hear that you're liking HOLD X. Out of curiosity, Are you combing HOLD with any other productivity tools?
Report
Really great @maths_mathisen
Yes, I think that is the best part :) As we use Asana in our team at work, and Hold X can be smoothly integrated to maximise the productivity. This was easily the main driver for signing up!
Report
@maths_mathisen Which also makes me curious! Would there be any integration with Google Calendar in the future as well?
@hnders_holm That's exactly why we built the Asana integration. We want to put only the necessary task in front of you, and not overwhelm you with all the noise from different projects and team members.
@hnders_holm Sure thing. That's actually first on our list, and I'm guessing you will be one of the first users we will reach out to for some testing. Thanks for all the support on PH and towards HOLD in general.

So your video shows time blocking, but I believe I read in a comment that the calendar integration isn't released yet? Any ETA on that? It's one of the more enticing features, to be able to drag tasks onto a calendar for planning :)
@nicksimard Great hearing from you. This is a feature we're aiming to release within March. First up is Google calendar, before integrating with other providers. Would google calendar be sufficient for your use case? Feel free to send me an email and I will make sure to keep you posted, maths(at)hold.app
I've been using this product for the last few months and as a result, finally getting the focus needed to complete the tougher tasks on my to-do list. It really has been a game-changer for me in terms of productively and proof that sometimes the best solutions are the simple ones.
The team recently rebuild the entire UI to make things even smoother and added analytics as well. Now you can see how much focus time you're getting each week and much more.
