Does the world need another color palette generator? Absolutely yes!!
Most color generators on the web just make a flat palette of 5 colors, leaving you to figure out the rest. Huemint is a machine learning system that generates colors for your end design - it knows which colors are foreground, which are background, and which are accents.
To get started, just select a design template and click (generate) on the top right. When you find a color that you'd like to keep, click the circular swatch on the top to lock it. Subsequent generations will take the locked colors into account.
Click the ⚙ icon for more generation settings. Increase the "creativity" slider for more diverse results.
Click the (atom) icon for the generation mode. Each algorithm will behave slightly differently:
- transformer is the default, it has a good balance between variety and precision
- diffusion is slower, but more precise (better for gradients)
- the random mode is good for less than 5 colors, and can generate pretty crazy combinations if that's what you're looking for
Hey @jak_9994 - congratulations on the launch 🚀
You've nailed a really useful and easy to use tool, here. I've been a huge fan of Coolors for a while now, but it doesn't mesh colour picking with inspiration like Huemint does. I'm a product guy in early stage startups so need all the help I can get when it comes to design and aesthetics, and this looks to be a gamechanger for me.
Wasn't sure I'd ever switch over from Coolors, but I'm really questioning that now.
Hope the rest of the launch goes really well, I'm excited for others to discover this tool as I really think it deserves a lot of coverage!
TTM!
I liked that you use pre-built templates to show the colours generated in-use. It's quite helpful as a digital product designer. Looking forward to making it a part of my repository of tools!

Хуеминт, ага.
Но со стартовой страницей я очень дого баловался и вертел этот хуеминт я очень долго. Спасибо. Беру.
This is hands down the coolest and nicest palette generator I've come across! I absolutely love! Being able to see the colors in context is HUGE! Love the different options it offers as well. Beautifully designed! Can't really say enough good things about it!
If I may though. One cool thing I would love to see is some export option. To maybe generate a stack of images as portrayed on screen. I know it gives you a link to share which is awesome. I just think it would be great for being able to present color options in another way.
Either way, absolutely amazing!
